My boost gauge will only read -20 unless im at WOT in 3rd to 5th gear in which case it reads 0........

I swapped the boost sensor with another one but it didnt help... It use to work every once in a while where it would read some absurd number like +25 even though its supposed to only be running something like +12 with my rtek 1.7 but it stopped doing that now and has a hard time reaching 0 from vacuum...

 

Are you building boost?

 

It sounds like it and the car feels like it is but the gauge will only max out at 0 ... 2.3v on the brown/red wire

 

grab an aftermarket gauge

 

Might do that just to check it but I do want to use the stock gauge

 

Looks like both of my sensors were good I just had a small rubber cap that was cracking and let a little air out... GG
