Boost sensor hookup

I have an 87 T2. My boost sensor is presently hookup to a vacuum line coming off of the ACV.

Does this sound correct? Should the boost sensor be connected to a vacuum line or a pressurized line?

well... a vacume line becomes a presureised line when boost kicks in. at idle, the only lines with pressure in them are the fuel, oil, and water lines. nothing else.

the boost sensor is a manifold pressure sensor. thats all it is.

Thanks, that is a better drawing than the one I was using.

It just didn't seem logical that the boost sensor would connect to a vacuum line.
