boost sensor

Can I use a N318 boost sensor on my S5 turbo engine? The reason I ask is because I am real close to start my N/A to turbo conversion and would like to know if I can use the N318 boost sensor I bought to work with the N370 ecu.

Thanks

Maybe, as long as you don't go into positive boost pressures, but I'm not sure...

Hmm.. I wonder since the boost sensor is from a 87-88 turbo engine that is why I dont know because it is from the s4 turbo engine.

I'd say ....NO. The wiring for a series four pressure/boost sensor is different than that for a series five.

The series four has four wires........the series five three wires. See the fsm.
