I checked ecu codes and found a code for my boost sensor. replaced boost sensor with a supposedly good sensor. still getting code for boost sensor. is there a way to trouble shoot the sensor. or test it...
or is there a certain reading on the wire cluster with the ecu...... to make sure that my ecu is getting the correct reading.

the whole thing started when the car would fall on its face when under 1/4 to full throttle..

Well, the brains are out drinking. So I can't post wiring schematics so that does not help. And I'm not near a wiring schematic, soooooo to the best of my memory, take the plug off the boost sensor. Key to on. Meter negative lead on a good ground. Positve lead on the brown/white wire(should see approx 4.5 volts. Now positive lead on the black/whire wire(should see approx 12v). Now put the meter on ohms and put the positive lead on the pure black wire*might be brown/black* and read the ohms. Should be appox 1 ohm or LESS.

Now put the plug back on the sensor, but unbolt the sensor where you can manipulate the sensor so you can insert the meters positive lead in the back of the brown/red wire. Meter on volts. Now start the engine. The meter should read approx 1.20volts at idle (my memory).

Boost/pressure sensors rarely fail. The code is usually a plug off or a wire open. I can't tell you what wire to ring to the ECU because I don't have the fsm here. Got http://www.iluvmyrx7.com and download to your hard drive the wiring schematics to see which wires.

Uh, the plug is connected and the vacuum line is going to the sensor also....right????
