Boost Gauge wire snaking??

Sorry for being stupid, but how do you snake the hose for your boost gauge into the engine bay?

Oh boy....... that was helpfull!!!!!

Anyway.... I cut a small slit in the boot in the engine bay where the wiring harness goes through the firewall. I then used a straight coathanger and put it through the slit so that it poked out by the clutch pedal on the inside. I then taped the boost line to the end of the coathanger in the enginebay and pulled it through to the inside. If you take the two relays off the fewnderwell by the clutch resevior, it makes this much easier to get to.

There is also a small hole with a button plug in it on the firewall, below and slightly left of where the brake pedal goes through the firewall, you have to pull the carpet WAY down to see it.. it connects to the pocket between the drivers fender and the firewall. if you look below the clutch resevior, there is about a 1 inch diameter hole in the flat "tray" there. This pocket connects to that hole.

HOWEVER.. that hole with the plug in it makes a GREAT place to run your 2 guage battery cable if you do a batery relocation to the rear cargo hatches, so you might want to keep that in mind.
