Boost gauge Qs
Boost gauge Qs
I hooked up this autometer sportcomp II boost gauge, http://egauges.com/vdo_ind.asp?Type=...II&PN=ATM-3607
and it reads 20psi vac at idle and drops when i rev it. Isn't supposed to stay at 0?
I hook a T to the BOV for the set up.
So does this mean i have a vac leak.
My idle hunts a at 1k-1200.

thats sounds bout rite.
When your at idle, basically not boosting it should read roughly about 20-16inhg of vac. Basically a motor is a vacuum.

It probably reads 20 Inches of VAC at idle... When you rev, it probably drops or a sec then starts climbing towards zero...
Please learn english..
