Boost dies :( pedal to the floor, boost goes to zero after 5000rpmish

Boost dies :( pedal to the floor, boost goes to zero after 5000rpmish

Anyone know why my boost cuts? its a JDM TII S5, T04E, FMIC, 0.5bar. FCD. tuned ECU.

full throttle...an the boost just drops to zero and huge lose in power.

Searched without success.

Not much info to go on, mate. Does it build boost on part throttle after 5Krpm ? what about on part throttle ? You might wanna check the piping for leaks first. After that would be vacuum lines.

I would check and see if the fins are hitting the housing itself. There is a possiblity that your turbo is not balanced. Does your exhaust smoke allot when driving?

No smoke, I'll check for play, but i doubt it.

once the boost dies, i can let off and build it again. I can part throttle it all the way to red line. I'll cheak for leaks? wouldn't I have idling problems?

Check all your IC piping, maybe it's possible that at those RPM's you've got a seal that gets loose.
