Thanks I guess I was more asking which ones. I found these on rx7.com. They have three and one is around $60 but the others are over $150. Any suggestions?

Anyone in the Raleigh, NC Area that could help me pull my turbo and port the wastegate?
get an aftermarket gauge the factory one is not to accurate when you start messing with the boost.

intake and exhaust mods without wastegate work will cause what you've described, I believe. I'm an n'a guy, tho, and I'm just learning so don't take my word for it.

Ok, kewl. Thanks! I looked around and found an OBX Universal Glow Radiant Turbo Boost Gauge for 45 bucks on ebay. It has several different face plates, lights up and looks pretty nice. I will post some pics when I get it installed. I am going to see if I can get it mounted in the glove box. My car is an 88 AE so I am trying to keep the interior looking as stock as possible.

is there anyway to deal with boost creep without porting wastegate or getting newer bigger one ? can you compensate the boost creep by haveing a better fuel pump with higher psi and high flow injectors, and stand alone ecu able to supply more fuel and timing to add for the boost creep so you have more power ? or does it keep creeping until the motor POPs ? ive got stock 93fd,except for hks turbo timer, im tryng to learn more about before i start bolting parts. i can already tell its gona be harder then my vette!!

controllong boost creep? OXYMORON i think is the word.boost creep is inconsistent. cold days are worse than hot days. but fd wastegate?hmm i dont have an fd but do they have one wastegate?or 2 ? I have a s4. easy to port the wastegate. Port the wastegate. on s4 i did it my self but i do tech work for a living so pretty easy.but no fd expirence on my end. wouldn't think it would be that hard. good luck

^^ FD's are even more dangerous when they boost creep--the injectors and fuel pump may be able to support the boost creep, but the ECU does not have an airflow meter and thus cannot adapt as well. Good chance of popping your engine there man. Port your wastegate or keep a restrictive exhaust.
