Question Boost Control BNR 3/4 W/ S5???

I was wondering if anybody could post their boost control experiences with this combination?

I will be using it on a S5 TII with S4 rotors, street port, RB Turbo back exhaust.

I was leaning towards the BNR 2 because Brian said boost control would be a bit better. However, I think I could work with the boost control problems seeing the work that was done with adding a seperate exhaust pipe for the WG into the DP.

My boost control issues with the Stage 4 S5 upgrade, 3 inch DP/MP, and TID, were very minimal. MAYBE 2 psi of creep in taller gears.. Far as I am concerned, its more then manageable.

Have you tried to control it?

Could you lower it?

I've got an isolated wastegate on a stage 3 (s4) and I can maintain it well all the way down to 9 (never tried anything less), pretty much just welded in a wall between the exhaust wheel and the wastegate flapper and ran an external pipe (pretty damn loud, but who cares?) Working on making a easy (as in, removable) setup to route it back into the exhaust

Yeah, I saw what DCEE did with his.

Did you have any problem with the stock WG spring not being stong enough to keep the door closed?

Do you have any prob tighting down the DP nuts?

Any pics of your setup?

well, i've just got a open dump (pipe coming off aimed at the ground) so it's not too much in the way, and i've been able to snake a ratcheting 17mm (iirc?) in there to tighten them up, never seemed to have a problem with the door opening up, but I'm not quite sure, I'd have to wire something up to toggle a light or something when it's opened, since I can't quite monitor it, and it seems to spool up just as quickly, so I can't say.
