Repair book, or story book? There is a very very good book about the design of the 2nd gen by Jack Yamaguchi. Ive seen it on ebay a couple times, and I ripped one off from the local library. **** them!

No, just a general "care and feeding" book on 7's. Kinda like "volkswagens for the compleat idiot" sorta deal, where some long-haired hippie mechanic genius takes a bunch of acid and goes zen on his RX...Obviously this book would be WAY more helpful then a retarded-*** chiltons manual or tech manual.

Barnes and Noble...Dont laugh. I was sitting around, drinking a mocha (im such a yuppie) and I went to the automotive section. I was looking for books on RXs because there is NOBODY in this town that works on them, and I hate to keep bothering people when I have a problem. So there werent any books. I ordered one. After a few beers, I have forgotten the title. But there has to be an RX bible out there somewhere.

There is a bible and it is called the factory service manual. You can even download for free the 88 version from Dave Gibson's website at FC3S.org.
Full of pictures and neat tests you can do to keep your RX running. Really simple to use and very few tools with numbers descriptions, aka GM service manuals.
Mine has gotten incredible use and I'm not anywhere the mechanic some of the guys on this site are.

Am I to assume that the 87 N/A is covered by the 88 manual?
