Bolt on or t2?

I have an 89 gxl NT/AT. My car is at about 83000 miles and i want to do a reubuild and start boosting. I spoke to a builder about a t2 swap and he said the best thing to do is rebuild and bolt on a t3/t4 or something along that line. With a t2 swap there is a lot of **** to swap. I also am on a little budget. Honestly i just want about 240-260 to the wheels and it would be good enough for me.

Well what ever you're game up for, is up to you. With the swap you can go through things meticulously and get their in time. If you buy a T2 and just bolt on a t3/t4, I doubt that car is going to last long if the motor wasn't rebuilt or mint and you'd just have to rebuild anways. You have to remember that with these cars, you get what you pay for. Hope things work out for you bro.
