My 1991 N/A seems to bog down in 1st gear, it doesnt do it all the time just randomly. Im pretty sure its isnt bc im not pushing the gas down hard enough when i come off the clutch bc when it does i can floor it and nothing happens. as u can tell i dont know much about rotarys, so any help is a great help

 

When this happens is there any smells coming into the cabin?
Smoke?

 

None of the above, it just doesnt go at all, it feels like the car is in neutral
