It's not a freakin' front lip. It's simply a cosmetic add-on to make your car look lower.

there is a button in the top right hand corner of the scree... it is labeled "search" use it and use it wisely you will get enough information about body kits where what kind and all the rest of that stuff to last you for quite some time.
Good Luck!

so when i search, i should look for "cosmetic add-on," not "front lip"? what do you consider a front lip?

some people's definition of rice may differ from others. we need a universal definition. time to research.

some people think body kits suck just cause they can't afford them. they're envious. good luck on your search. and corksport has the best kit for your bucks, fiberglass.

seeing that it aint hard to spend 10K on a car in "necessary" speed mods (thats why we're here, right?), yea, we can't afford em. some people have other interests. though i still would like a nice set of wheels (15x6.5 just doesn't vut it), but i won't buy real nice wheels (ie Volk, $400/wheel) until my car is ready. now if insurance money is involved (referring to bumpers/body kits), then there's another story.

I think body kits can look quite nice and NOT ricey if done correctly. Don't forget, not everyone thinks the same as you when it comes to whats rice and whats not. :-p

Just search thanks...that's what the button is for.

What is it with the constant spoon feeding that people want/expect nowadays.

some people think body kits suck just cause they can't afford them. they're envious
Not necessarily. I can affort a kit for my cars. But, I'm more old school in my approach to RX-7's. I like their timeless styling, and feel they don't need to be modernized by a kit.

So really, envy has nothing to do with it. But I also don't feel that some of the better kits, GP, Knightsports, RE are rice.

Generally, that theory applies to everything. People waste more time trying to convince others to think and be the same, yet the spice of life= different flavors... If you want a body kit, buy one

i know what you mean but if people r just gonna not help anybody else then why let everyone make new topics, if its gonna b like that then take out the "new thread" option...since every1 probably asked the same question over and over and yall just gonna say use the search button, right?? oh and on the subject of body kits, just do whatever you wanna do, if it looks nice in your eyes then do it.

that seems a bit ignorant. someone is looking for help to mod his car, even if it is cosmetic. Everyone on here has their own tastes, and seriously, how fun would this forum be if everyone drove the exact same car? just my opinion...

Does this mean there are not any body kits for the FC that actually improve aerodynamics, and make the car "go" better? I'm just curious because of my recent posts concerning wind resistance at high speed.

Given the money required for the kits to be installed properly and seamlessly you could gain a larger amount of performance through increasing horse power. And I have yet to see any aerodynamics numbers/improvments advertised by any comany with a body kit.

higher priced bodykits are sometimes more expensive because wind tunnel tests were actually done during their design. (i.e. mugen kits).

regardless, 2nd gen rx-7's leave something to be desired as far as exterior styling...

i'm looking at the erebuni #370 kit right now, you can find one for $500 to $600.

andy's autosport

just search around if that doesn't float your boat...
