Body Kits

http://www.i-m-racing.com/rx78692fc3s.html

My friend sent me that link saying how "tight" that FC looks personally I hate most body kits and I hold that one at no exception, it looks horrible, its like dressing your car up in really stupid looking clothes, so what say ye FC Men and Women, Body kits, yes or no?

Personally I say, no

I kinda like the nose, but they have some funky looking lights that look like $%*t, the hood is way too over the top and doesn't look like it belongs on that car. They should also get rid of that little inlet on the left.

Thumbs up Body Kits

I think some kits are an addition to the RX7, as long as you don't over do it. I like the kit on the blue car, especially that rear wing.

Can anyone tell me where to purchase the rear spoiler on the pic of the blue 7 that Drox sent in?

I have all other kit parts selected and plotted out, but no reear spoiler yet.

Thanx in advance.

You need bigger rims. Those things look damn small, kind of looks funky. No clue what rims are on the 7 I posted, Im putting Cobra R rims on my car this spring.

accually the mariah kit is more like $13,000 for the widebody kit. i emailed them for a quote and that was what they sent me back for the body shop to do including the kit not to mention before you put the kit on you need suspension mods and new rims and tires other wise you will be driving on the ground at every bump. so they told me all said and done the mode six wide body conversion would be about $13,000 USD.

body kits = thumbs up

ricer kits = thumbs down

I feel that if something on the kit has a function (like a reverse hood scoop, or larger front air intake) then it is tasteful and belongs with/on the car.

Here is a perfect example of my philosophy: Who here calls the large wing on the back of an F1 car 'rice'?

I really dont like the front bumper on that kit, it kinda sucks, it doesnt fit the cars shape at all. Kind of like when people buy those aluminum eBay rice spoilers for their car, no matter what car they have. doesnt really go with the original body style.

RX-7 body kits tend to be fully functional and look very tasteful...nothing out of range like the body kits for hondas and acuras which have names like black widow, spiderman, extreme, and oh yeah of course RX-7 style (99 spec C west front bumper cop off) (I like the cwest bumper on an RX-7) -Gabe
