I just purchased my first RX-7- a silver '88 convertible with a seized engine and some minor rear end damage. The engine is a matter entirely to itself, but I'm looking at finding the parts necessary to repair the tail. I know the tail light assemblies on the FC3C's differs from that of the 3S's, but how do the rest of the body panels match up? In other words, could I get a coupe bumper to replace the damaged one on the vert?

I tried searching, but haven't found a thread specifically outlining the differences between the convertibles and the coupes- so I'm sorry if this is a question that has been asked to death! Thanks!

 

both bumpers, front fenders and hood should be interchangeable along with all lights except tail lights. im pretty sure everything else is different body wise except maybe the windsheild. drivetrains are identical though
