BNR stage 1 on NA block

Would running a BNR stage1 turbo on an NA block without a stand alone EMS (control timing) be too dangerous? I have an SAFC only, and am thinking about going BNR.

mmmm...... I wouldn't do it. Especially when you can build a megasquirt for about 200 or buy one built for about 350.

I disagree, I think it would work if your boost was around 4-6psi or so. This is my plan at least on some high octane gas and an safc.

I would sya opt for larger injectors probably 550 primaries and 680 secondaries. Just to make sure you have that little extra for the higher compression.

I'm gonna go BNR stage2 when I turbo my n/a block, something like 680 primaries and 720 or 850 secondaries.
