CA Blown water seal

Ok i know that one of my water seals is blown so im just going to take out my motor and rebild it... But before i do this,
is their anyhing i should look
out for like are any parts going to fly out when i
crack it open???
Like springs and such???

best thing to so is download a copy of the FSM and disassemble the engine step by step from that. but no, nothing is going to fly apart. you need to remove the tension bolts in a certain order to avoid iron warpage or distortion. that is the first crucial piece of advice i can give. next is that you will need a flywheel stopper so you can get the flywheel nut (2 1/8 socket)
and the front bolt off. other than that, its pretty straightforward.

Buy one of several good videos that provide step-by-step instructions on rebuilding the 13b. Mazdatrix.com has one but there are others. It would be foolish to attempt to rebuild this engine without some knowledge of how to go about it.

yea i had bough a rebilding video so im just going to follow the steps
