Blown - Not Blown - A Mericle
About a week and a half ago I posted that my '86 looked like a crop duster and our neighborhood looked like downtown Bagdad with this white smoke. It happened for two days in a row. Well, I parked the car for about a week and a half and drove my other car. I went out last night to start it, and have a laugh to drive my neighbors nuts. Guess what? NO SMOKE AT ALL!!
Today I drove it to work - NO SMOKE. I took it to Maria Motorsport here in Santa Barbara this afternoon. (Man, what cool race machines they have in there - plus they are great people) They adjusted my timing, removed and plugged the "cold wheather start" bottle. And decided "not to fix it if it isn't broken." I feel that I'll get to know them better in the near future, but the car runs like new. IT'S A MERICLE!!!!
Would appreciate any thoughts or input.
Thanks in advance.

.. get a compression test eventually and it will show you the engines age.. good luck.
