oh yeah i got the block cleaned out today, it was hard getting it to start but i did a few times. I also pulled the drain plug from the bottom of the Rad and the bottom of the engine where the spark plugs are and ran water through until all the purple stuff was out. Tomarrow im going to fill it with water and two bottles of the crc block weld or whatever its called and drive it around for a little while, let it sit for 5 hrs or something, and then see how it worked. If not then im taking it out and going to Tenn again.

Evans doesn't boil until 375º F. When EG + water boils in the cooling passage it creates a condition called "departure from nucleate boiling" ; which is essentially big VAPOR pockets blanketing your cooling passages. Vapor has a heat transfer co-efficient of zip-point-****, and your block gets hot quick. Evans also allows you to run wih a ZERO psi system or low pressure system to reduce the strain on the cooling system components. With EG + Water the mixture needs to be Pressurized to raise the boiling point to a working level.

Charles, I want you to come get that GD MF'ing clutch asap or shut the hell up about it. I have heard about that damned POS faded rusty orange clutch set for a year now, and it is sitting on my shelf mocking me on a daily basis. You'll chew my *** if I sell it or throw it away, and Im not spending my good money to ship *your* clutch, so it has to sit there yet another day. Come get the SOB!!

/rant/

BTW, I wonder what PR's warranty would say about Charles' motor here, seeing as how he admits to overheating it and everything. I bet it probably would be voided. Note the warranty that I just offered, before the PR/RR conversation started up.

I've only seen four 13B side irons in my life. What are the signs of one what has seen too much heat?

Thanks
