blowing the main fuse

I just put my new motor back in my 87 T2, once the power cable get touches the battery the main (80a) fuse pops, i know something is shorting out or two wires r touchin some were int he harness, but that wire would have enouch bawls to blow that fuse like it nothing, i dont thing it int he main harness that gos tot yhe ecu, but i was thinkin it mit be the part of the harness that connects all the gauges and head lights and all little stuff on the driver side of the engine bay.

If any body has had this same problem before and has fixed it please let me know what it was, thanks

btw, we did cut the injector clips off and put in ones on but i dont think the injector clisp would have enouch bawls to blow an 80a fuse.

Thanks for all the help
