Exclamation Blower Motor Resistor...Pls Help...Searched!!

Searched...Now before I pull my blower assembly completely apart..

Blower motor does work, applied 12V and it spins...when I flick the switch, the relays do click, tested fuses and the like....

When I went to the Mazda dealership, they gave me a two prong harness end connected to what is obviously a resistor. When I look up into my blower assembly, motor removed, I only see a slab of aluminum with this round thing in the middle.

Before I pull my dash apart, does the part I have, match the part I need?

The blower housing can be removed without messing with the dash! Two, maybe three bolts. Remove the motor first to make it easier (weight).

If that does not work, its still possible the relays are the problem even if they click. The contacts inside could be burnt/dirty/whacked.

With the fan on, the black/green wire should have 12v. The green/red wire at the relay should have a ground on it and the blue wire should have 12v from the fuse to feed the motor when the relay closes.

That said, my first fix for my bad heater fan was to buy a fan housing out of the wrecking yard that had a good resistor on the top/front of it. Found several bad housings with bad resistors in the wrecking yard.
