The body is nice and straight though it just needs a paint job, but I got that covered. I plan on doing a cutsom wideboy. It's gonna be pretty mild, jus something to fit bigger rims inside there. Pretty much I'm bringing everything over from my 89 GTU to this 91 coupe. My GTU has fram damage from a drifting accident that happened in december. I can still beat on it and I still do. In fact I hid the damage pretty well. But I can't wait to get started on this thing. Here are some pics of it. This is only the beginning and I will record it's steps using this blog.

-88 GTU LSD

I plan on
-Coilovers
-Camber/caster plates
-Roll bar
-camber adjuster for rear
-racing seats
-some other lil goodies

I saw it didn't have the taillights but I already know it is illegal to drive with out taillights but i wasn't sure about the driver side mirror. My car has no driverside door and I was told that you can drive with out a door as long as you have a driverside mirror.

You're seriously thinking about driving your FC without a door?

No I was not considering it but I don't have the money to fix it right now and I need something to drive and it is the only car I own. I didn't do it cause of security reasons and if it rains I am Screwed.

First those pics are when the car was gutted and not being driven.

Second I would not recommend driving without a driver side door or mirror! lol

Anyways no updates here car hasn't change and neither has my financial situation...I'm broke!! But only 1.5 years til I graduate from UCLA!!

New christmas update!!! 12-26-08

So, I actually did work on the car, this is crazy lol, and you know what I got more in store hopefully for the next couple months. So, as usual I am back home for christmas break. I have way too much time on my hands, hardly any money, and a walmart a mile away. I walk near the paint section and see some paint...I should paint some of my car!!! I picked a couple fenders from the jyard nothing great but better than what I had. They are S4 fenders so the bumper line up wasn't the best. Check it out and lemme know what you think.

Now ya'll probly think I'm crazy cause I went back to purple lol....you know what I probly am. But I like this one better, it's not as sparkly and not as bright as the last color. I like the two tone look much better too. Once I get more time i'll finish it off and finally strip all the wheels back to chrome.

Things to come, 6 new tires, finally some front springs so I can install the GC set up, and tune up the cooling system with some new coolant and thermostat.

I wanna post up old vids for you guys cause I think some links got lost. To start off:

This vids is about 2.5-3 years old now! This is at altamont when I started and still driving the blk FC. I sucked! lol

<a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=60596 5">Old School Alex and Elbyne drifting! </a><br/><object width="425px" height="360px" ><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"/><param name="wmode" value="transparent"/><param name="movie" value="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=605965,t=1,mt=video,searchID=,primarycolor=,seco ndarycolor="/><embed src="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=605965,t=1,mt=video,searchID=,primarycolor=,seco ndarycolor=" width="425" height="360" allowFullScreen="true" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent"/></object>

This next one is just after I got the red car up and running. I'd say about 2 years ago now.

<a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=23225 02">Rx7 drifting at Altamont </a><br/><object width="425px" height="360px" ><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"/><param name="wmode" value="transparent"/><param name="movie" value="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=2322502,t=1,mt=video,searchID=,primarycolor=,sec ondarycolor="/><embed src="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=2322502,t=1,mt=video,searchID=,primarycolor=,sec ondarycolor=" width="425" height="360" allowFullScreen="true" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent"/></object>

Finally my compilation video that's about 1.5-2 years old. The car ran really well and I was doing much better.

<a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=87979 64">My FC drift compilation</a><br/><object width="425px" height="360px" ><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"/><param name="wmode" value="transparent"/><param name="movie" value="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=8797964,t=1,mt=video,searchID=,primarycolor=,sec ondarycolor="/><embed src="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=8797964,t=1,mt=video,searchID=,primarycolor=,sec ondarycolor=" width="425" height="360" allowFullScreen="true" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent"/></object>

Here is a recent vid but the car handled very badly. The car would overheat after a run if I pushed it too hard or stayed out too long. Then all my tires were crap. I shouldn't have driven at this event but I just threw stuff together last minute and wanted to go with my friends to have fun. This is from sept 2008

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/i4z66GDEDuY&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en& feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/i4z66GDEDuY&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en& feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

*these are my two good friends Jay Jay (red 240) and Derryl (hachi) driving with me. They're like my drift kids, I saw them from the very beginning and grow to such good drivers now. These guys will be real good in the future with more practice.

Wooo christmas came late! UPDATE: 1-16-09

I got some new tires! And what deal, $50 a piece brand new. Goodyear eagle F1 tires. 205-50-16's, 280 treadwear, and I love the smell of new tires!

For now the chill by my bathroom door! It sucks living in an apartment with hardly any room!

Also I finally got front springs! No pics of those cause they were mailed to my nor-cal address, but I should get em at the end of the month. I order them straight from ground control. They are pretty short, 5 inch with approximately 430lb rating. I am just going to run a ground control set up for awhile and see what happens. Eventually I need to buy shocks too, but I will make it work like I always do. I might also be getting a role cage soon (crosses fingers) so we shall see. I'll update as usual. Adios!

Nuthing too special just some recent shot of when I went up north to my friend bday drift event...check it out.

I know I know the car is kinda ugly, but I don't have time. I managed to get it running really well tho so I'm happy with that, despite the mismatch look.
