Blocking Off Center Vents

im going to block off the two center vents above the logicon/stereo for my entertainment setup.....ill block it off back in the dash of the black routing of the air....im ASSUMING this wont hurt anything?

as small as our cars are, and the vents that blow in the floor and the door panels......those will be more than adequate to cool/heat the car in a small amount of time.......with those center vetns blocked off, teh air pressure of these should be more powerful correct??

I was planning on doing the exact same thing, in favor of mounting some small 46mm gauges there. I don't see any negative effects, but then again, I haven't tried it yet. Theoretically, it should be harmless.

yup, theoretically it should be.....but we are dealing with rx7's......it probably has some sensor or some bs that'll buzz like crazy if the switch for the a/c / heat is on but there's now air flowing through it.

The velocity of the air coming out the the remianing grilles will be faster, but the overall volume of air (and hence the ability to heat or cool) will be reduced. You may find the increased velocity annoying.
