Racing Beat has re-build kits. Mazdatrix has the components to do it too but I think it will be a lot more expensive. I believe atkins has them also.

If you are going to go with a Chev engine, throw a vette motor in there.

Atkins Rotary has the best prices that I've ever found. I paid 3000 for a rebuilt turbo engine, probably a couple hundered less for a non-turbo. Also, you will get a 500 dollar core refund when you send them the blown engine and shipping is free and there is no sales tax because they are in Texas. Oh, and it just isn't an RX-7 without a rotary.

Rebuilds are easy, buy the Rebuild video from RotaryAviation.com and see if it's within your abilities. If it is, just order the overhaul kit and the reinstall kit.

Just make sure you take all the RX-7 badges off, and change the body panels, and put the "probe" badges on it.
