Blew my differential.
So i blew my differential, i think. The car is a 1989 GTUs. Racing beat 4 puck sprung clutch, new OEM pressure plate, lightweight flywheel. It has a T2 clutch type LSD, and the 4.3 GTUs gearing.
I launched the car, the car jerked and just revved, while in gear, no moving.
Trigger my WTF face. Try in every gear. The car just revs while in gear, doesn't stall even with the clutch out, and the rear end makes some grinding noises while trying to take off.
I'm assuming it's the differential that blew. And if so, can i swap any LSD unit and pinion gear into the pumpkin shell?
