Blew Motor And looking for Advice

Whats going on guys I blew my motor going 150 on the way going to Washington D.C. racing a 2.5 GT neways i gotta rebuild the motor so i was wondering what kinda stuff i can do while i'm going to rebuild the motor neways. Any advice would be nice. Jus to let you guys know i'm already getting 1600cc injectors for secondarys getting the motor ported and i pretty much have all bolt ons. I was running 240WHP before so i'm looking for some more power. I'm spending a good amount to get the engine rebuilt so i'm not looking to spend too much more. But again any feedback out be nice. I am kinda new to the whole rx7 thing so if neone knows about meets or nething like that in New York would be nice to hear thanks.

are you upgrading the turbo as well? because there is realyl no need for 1600's on a stock turbo.....even with 12psi on the stock turbo you BARELY need 720 secondaires, I ran 12 pounds all day long on the factory turbo with blue printed stockers all the way around....

I would just say give it a mild streetport, the rest can all be done after the motor is running nicely and more money is saved up.......

Well i'm already running an upgraded t04b turbo not sure of the size exactly but i've had it dynoed and it was running lean on the right end running 12psi. And i have a walboro 255 in there because i was running lean but i guess that didn't really work because i was still running lean.

Detail your engine bay while your engine is out.

put a standalone (haltech, microtech) and get it tuned on the dyno... otherwise the new motor will go out too...

How much is a decent stand alone because i was going to have my fcon tuned and checked out so i was hoping it would be good for some time. because i don't have like 1700 for a Wolf 3D.
