Blew a fuse jumpstarting, electrical dead!

Ok, this is what happened: I jump started an 86 RX7 and it ran like crap (after sitting for 2 years) But when i took off the jumpers it died, and wouldnt restart. So me and my friend went to have a look at the fuses..and behold, the master fuse was blown. After this discovery, my friend suggested we bypass the fuse and directly hook the wires up....bad idea i know.... then, when the car was on jumpers, the wires touched, and a huge spark lit the area. Then none of the electrical would work...The weird thing though, the fuse that sparked, was the master...doesnt that hook up to the engine, so if that was blown, the engine wouldnt turn....but the engine does turn..So i cant figure out WTF is going on..Do i need new fuses, did i **** the electrical system...Please help.

If the car cranks over and does not start, try this link https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=41409 At first, ignore everything until you come to Keith. Read Keith. Then read the rest. BOTTOM LINE: He just had a 10amp fuse burnt out. Maybe you can be so lucky. Read the posts to identify the fuse. If not that engine fuse, then go to the main relay and do the check on the main relay following the threads in the https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=41409
If the first sentence of this post is incorrect, then give a more detailed description of the problem.
