Bleeder Valve Question

Simple question really but has anybody ever had a problem with clutch fluid leaking due to the bleaker valve?

I keep losing fluid and it seems the leak is from the valve on top of the secondary cyl.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

the valve seat can get messed up too and if so i think you'll need a whole new unit.

Yeah, I am debating on just buying a new slave unit and bleeder valve. I just got a new oem master cylinder so just replacing it all would probably be best.

It is most definetly tight...any more and probably would have broke something or stripped it.

Anybody know the best place to buy a secondary cylinder? Local parts stores can order it for around $35

Thanks,
Mike

I've had that problem with brake bleeders before. It's either rust/corrosion on the seat/bleeder, debris, or the seat has been galled. Remove the bleeder and inspect it and the seat. I either one is not perfect, replace it.
