Blaze red vs sunrise red

So the S5 red was a blaze red right and not a sunrise red?

Or did mazda have a s5 sunrise red color as well?

Blaze red is a pinkish red and sunrise red is a orangy-red. I am thinking about painting my S4 TII Blaze red like my S5 N/A as soon as I get my bumper and wide fenders from Shine.

Hey Sunrise Red had a longer run-both my '79 RX-7 and '88 Convertible were and are sunrise red...and you can still get touch up!

My 88 Vert and 91 Turbo. You still can't really see the difference like when they are sitting side by side. I'll try and take a picture like that tomorrow if I get a chance and it doesn't rain.

I may have a pic of the two together at home. I've got one now but the 87 is to far back to see a notiecable difference.

Yeah, what he asked, and where'd you get that 4-piece bra that fits with the front lip? And how'd you get them 'vert splash shields on with the TII sideskirts?

Looks great!

Thanks guys! The Mazda bra came with the car and the mudflaps came on the car. Since I'm the 2nd owner I'm guessing the orig owner had the dealer put them on. Original paint also

That's a fantastic car, I wonder if Mazda still offers that bra?

I'll have to call the dealer and check...

You should buy my 16" Infini wheels/tires, those would truly set your car apart and you could still call it all OEM!

Thanks man. I kinda doubt they do but it can't hurt to ask! BTW my Vert came with the Mazda bra and the blue car cover, 2nd owner on that one also. I've already got an extra set of the S5 rims right now but you never know hah!

I just painted my car from sun rise to blaze red. I looked at the paint mixing formulas for both, and the only major differance in the two is sunrise red has more orange than the blaze. Both are simple colors.

Looks like a great paint job!...Did you use 2-stage base/ clear? I plan on doing the same thing with my '88 TII except I'm upgrading to S5 mouldings and mirrors.
