found a convertible with 76,xxx miles on craigslist, checked it out yesterday. After few minutes of idling smoke started coming out of the engine compartment. I looked at the tail pipe, it was fine ,no sign of any smoke. Could it be a exhaust manifold leak? is this a common problem? My fault for not tracing the smoke to where it was coming from. Ill be going there again to check it out for the last time. In the meantime can u guys please help a me out. Thanks

 

Old spilt or leaking oil burning off of a manifold? Check for leaks. Either that or its catching on fire.
