Issues with the 'vert top ..
Hiya,
I've got a 1990 'vert that's having a few issues with the top not going up. Had this before, but usually when I put it down then back up it works. Yesterday was the final draw where it just wouldn't budge. This morning I was able to get it working ... but I'm not wanting to deal with this all the time. Esp with T-storms lately here where I live.
I've gotten the 4 screws to loosen, I just.. for the life of me cannot find where the actual screw is on the left and right side to release I guess the motor from working? From what I've read in the manual it should be visible, but I can't see it.
Anyone have any suggestions, or a better photo of where the screws are to make my top manual? Thanks.

The motors hook up to the arms of the roof.So really you can't make it manual unless you disconnect the motors from the Top(roof).17mm or 14mm,one or the other.
If you are having problems with the top going up or down,first check the FUSE.(ya,fuse)..I had a corroded fuse and it would stop the top,and then nothing.Replaced the fuse and NO problemo.
Next would be to hit the microswitch with Contact cleaner.It is outside the Electric motor's housing.It gets its Contact from a Cam on the motor,so if it is dirty it would shut the motors down.
