Black & polished BBS wheels (pics!) plus a quick Q.
I picked up a set of the stock 15x6.5" BBS aluminum-allow wheels (of the convertibles) and a complete S5 intake for $100 from one of the local guys.
They were in pretty good shape, the lip was polished pretty well still and the curb rash wasn't too bad. He didn't have the center caps, but I'm going to hit up the U-pull yard and ravage the BMW section.
I painted them black with some Rustoleum high-strength glossy black and let them bake in the sun for a couple of days and had my front tires from the original wheels mounted on one pair and then replaced my rears with some new tires. I do have to get an alignment done because you can really notice how screwed up it is now and one of my rear wheels wobbles ever so slightly (it's been making a lot of noise back there).
I think they look pretty bitching since I stuck with the black trim, but I was looking at it today when we were at Wheels and Wings and I'm thinking that I should maybe paint the wing black as well. Some of my Forza FCs are colored like that and I think it looks good in-game, but not sure how it looks in real life so I'm trying to see what you guys think.

I'm kinda digging the black, but it's another hard decision.

Hmmm, maybe I should get some aero mirrors to make them match better. I like the mirrors to be body colored much more then black, so they have to remain so, but the passenger side one does have a little chunk missing so it's the perfect excuse.

and carbon fiber demister shields.^
I think the black painted mirrors look great, but it reallt depends on what color the spoiler and rims are.. For instance if your going to paint one black you better paint em all the same, it would just look out of place if there was a red spoiler and black mirrors and stock color rims

i have the same thing on mine. the same wheels done the same way and a black tail on a red gxl...except my fenders aren't painted yet as well as a black hood. all and all, yours look fine the way it is. if i had money, i'd paint my tail and hood and fender to match the car.

i dont know what to say, it looks very nice on your car, I have the stock convertible rims on mine too, but i'm going to keep mine like they are unless i find a place to chrome them out, i like shiney rims!
