Hows about we go ahead and pull some codes, shall we? And while we are at it, lets check for vac leaks. CEL illuminated?

 

no check engine light. doesn't turn on when key in is on position either. tried checking codes, but there are none. Checked for vac. leaks, there was a small one from the air box to the throttle body, but that was fixed. still runs like *** though.

 

Hmmm... Let me chew on this one a while... See what that old man Hailers comes up with.

How did you check for vac leaks?

 

i sprayed a can of carb clearner around all the vac lines and listened for the engine to speed up.
