Bigger TII injectors

Im buyin a turbo2 and it needs secondary injectors cause the owner robbed em for his n/A. Im wondering though, would it be okay to go ahead and install 640cc injectors or whatever the hell exact size those are in the secondaries. The car is stock for now but I'm planning on puttin the turboII race exhaust and fuel cut defencer on it. I dont want it to lean out I'm really afraid of that. Those shouldnt be to much will they? I wouldnt think that they would be. Any advice anyone? I mean I gotta buy injectors anyways so...

The stock injectors are 550cc. If you decide to upgrade now, you will need an upgraded pump, as well as some sort of fuel management computer, so that you don't run too rich.

EDIT: Forgot prices. Injectors are $155 each for 680 or 720cc from www.srx7.com. Computers will start at about $300 for an Apex-i S-AFC and a pump will run you about $200 for a Walbro unit from www.rx7store.net

Why do you HAVE to get them?
720 ND fuel injectors are brand NEW from any GReddy dealer for $136.36 FULL RETAIL.&nbsp That makes SR a RIP.

Run a larger fuel pump (Walbro 255lph), and it'll support close to 300hp with the stock fuel injectors.&nbsp Are you planning to make more power?

Buy some cheap 550s and slap in it. Drive it with those till you need the 720s.

I have to buy injectors cause the car doesnt have them. Tell you what, okay, heres the story. My friend is building a N/A. He bought this turboII from another friend of mine for parts. All hes taken off of it is the secondary injectors and the hood. Why use the turboII for a parts car? Its has a vacuum leak so it starts runs for a couple of seconds then dies. Plus it needs a clutch master cylinder. He dont want to put the money into it. When the car did run it had a bad leak at the turbo so it wouldnt spool. He fixed the leak but right after that, the car got the vacuum leak it has now to where it wont run at all so hes not even quite sure if he did fix the turbo leak. he said for the couple of seconds it would run he could rev it and the turbo would start to spool so...but anyways I'm gettin the car for a woppin total of 300 bucks so I cant complain. And I figured that since I'm gonna be upgrading the car and I have to buy injectors why not just go ahead and buy bigger injectors for the secondaries. And thats the story.

If you have 680s toss them in, your compter will handle it fine, stock pump also ok, Only down side is a small hesitation on full throdle. Itl run rich but if your going to do mods real soon itl be ok. The average used TII injectors are only putting out in the 430cc range when sent for cleaning, R.C.Eng. flow tests them before and after.
(Note) Please dont go through emissions with this
setup.
Good Luck...

If its an 87. I had to use an 86-7 resistor pack to use them in my 88.

Well lucky for me here in florida we dont have ANY kind of emissions or exhaust checks. I can run rich with no cats all year long if I want. As long as its not too loud noone gives a damn. And this TII is a pre 87. the assembly line date on the door says 11/86 if I remember exactly. Thanks for all the help guys, now my only problem is where to get the 680s from for a decent price.

FWIW I have a spare set of 87 t2 550's for sale $100/set if youre interested. They'll need pintle caps and lower grommets(they broke off durng removal) but are tested to work and came off my running t2...I have 680's.
