big problem

i do not know, but my oil is below low. it is cold outside, but that should have nothing to do with it right? i cranked it up and the pressure is right for the oil. and when i do of course my dip stick has oil on it, just really black. i know i changed it in december no joke. i am going to just add until it gets warmer. what u think prof.

try a double oil change to get all of the **** out of it, its possable theres alot of sludge in the oil pan, if you feel like it clean that bitch out, oil tends to sludge more when its colder out

What's the question? Low oil? Low oil pressure? Dirty oil?

i did it probabley exactly 3 months ago. new filter and gtx i think non synthetic. do u think i should have ran a few quarts through to get out any old crud? and also i put in a quart and it showed up on the dip stick. closer to the low side though. does my beautiful beast burn this much oil. i did u 10w 40. but i do live in indiana. pressure was a little higher than normal when idling. 25 psi or something like that

idle oil pressure should be around 30psi warm, but it is possible your sender or gauge could be out of calibration

you should have used at least 5 quarts on a wet system (one that had oil in it previously)

Are you leaking oil on the ground??? Or are you burning it? And you're supposed to check your engine oil when the engine is "cold".
