Big Aussie thanks for the advice

Ihad been having trouble with hesitation, jerking and an intermittent electricial problem and was starting to pull out my hair. Then! I read of a trick on the site. I went to Dick Smith, spent 35 dollars and purchased 2 cans of contact cleaner and proceeded to spend 2 hours cleaning every contact and electrical junction under the bonnet. At the same time I checked for possible shorts and gaffer wrapped any loose or hanging wires and potential probs. (the previous owner was not electrically gifted at all). WOW what a difference. Started the car and the idle was 1500 (up 550 to 600) reset everything and now I have a new car. The damn thing purrs. It'eliminated all ofmy probs. I have better response from the throttle, idles smoothly and goes like a cut cat. Do it. Its worth it. (To giveyou an idea how bad it was I was contemplating selling the car cos the probswere giving me the *****.
