Thumbs up Better way to upgrade brake..?

I feel the brake getting weak, even I changed the rotors.
Getting a big brand BRAKE CALIPERs is very expensive.

I am thinking about that get FDs BRAKE CALIPER, can be cheaper??
is that possible fit into S5 FC? and it will make a big difference?
Thanks

what brakes are you running? how much HP are you pushing...?

i know my fc's brake pedal feels stiff and don't want to stop, but it does... its not that bad.

I am sure with brackets you can fit anything onto the fc...

last but not least... i do not have an answer for your fd question.

Correct me if i am wrong, but i thought the FD calipers were the same as the FC 4 pots beside the look of it and the mounting possition... but again, im not sure.
i just assume that because they use the same brake pads. If you have single piston calipers in the front, you can consider converting them to the FC 4 piston calipers w/ good brake pads and maybe even a SS brake line and bleed them well. If you already have 4 pots, i dont know what to suggest.

Same brakes as the FD.

Sounds like it would be a good idea to bleed your entire brake system. How dirty is your fluid?

I would go with SS lines like suggested.

Get some good pads. These don't last long, dust bad, and sound like a school bus stopping.

But Hawk HP+ pads....they work like mad when warmed up.
