Better cabin blower?
I've noticed from looking at my factory ammeter that the cabil blower fan seems to put the most strain on the electrical system. I'm wondering two things:
Is my blower fan operating at less than optimal performance?
Is there any way to put another fan (from another Mazda perhaps) that would blow more air with less electrical draw?
Just wondering since I have about a million things to do to the car before things like are anywhere near the top of the list...

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
Older blowers will draw more current as they wear out.
But it should draw no more than the headlights, or rear defroster, or AC or probably even the brake lights.

Uh, RX-7s don't have a factory ammeter.
FWIW, the current draw of the blower motor is about 8.5A on full. If yours is pulling more, then it's probably wearing out (bad bearings).

pull the motor out and take it apart and clean it, when i pulled mine the thing barley spun.. but after cleaning and grease it spun a lot better.
