Best way to remove heater core??

I went with the full dash removal. <12 hours for a newbie... including two trips to the store. Should be less if U R better than me. Don't even bother removing the defogger grilles, the whole metal plate they are attached to pops out very easily with clips after you remove the center bolt. The grilles don't need to come out and they break VERY easily.

it weights somewhere around 10-15lbs not including the water..
but all the crap that goes to it probable racks it up to about 45lbs or so. (blower, ac, pipes, heater core)

Wow, I must have a different heater core than everyone else. Its a small brass radiator. I think everything all together is probably 30-40lbs. Thats the blower and all the little crap, but just the core...5lbs max!
