Best way to remove glue from paint?

Finally got around to removing college decal from rear glass hatch with no problem (blow dryer followed by nail polish remover to get rid of residual glue). However, after using Blow dryer on the parking sticker thing on the rear bumper, was afraid to use nail polish remover (acetone) on painted surface. Any folks have suggestions that won't damage the paint?

Thanks, Jerry

Try some rubbing compound (available at most auto part stores in the wax and polish section) and then use some elbow grease and it should come off.

Try some WD40. This should remove all the petroleum products, then clean and polish.

They sell a wax and grease remover that works really well. its a very mild solvent.

Simple green but don't leave it on to long. I love simple green. It works great for just about everything.

yeah simple green, or try 409...it worked for my sticker off my rear bumper...removes the adhesive. great for removing tint also hehe after you peel of the tint, spray 409 and wipe away. wd40 worked great also but can make spots on your paint fropm the spray droplets...make sure you spray it down and wipe it up after using these things.
