Gotta love hit n runs.

Now would it be better to get a new door/fender or to get some bodywork done?

I personally find it much less time consuming and to change them out ie... fender and door. With both of those areas being at rolled seams the body work would be a pita.

go find a few body shops and see what they estimate repair costs at. Then see how much you can get a fender and door for (think about paint also). Then see which one suits u better. I would go for the the second choice if you could find it locally. Shippings a pain and cost a bit.
