Best UIM/LIM?

Looking for a "best bang for the buck" full manifold setup. None of that Hogans $3000 garbage. lol
Need a little better flow then the stock S5 manifold. Something that will flow a little better with a fairly large turbo pushing 25 or so psi through a 13b.
I know of a few LIM's that have a better then stock flow to them, but is there a place or even a hope of finding a good used upper and lower setup for say, under $1000?
Nothing to flow 1000hp through. But between 500-600.

Ive searched a while. Dont get me wrong, Im sure theres pricing threads all over, but I always have trouble finding things like that on forums. haha!

As in, just the manifold? Or the entire damn motor? Cause Id love to do an RE motor. But Id be looking at spending the same for a stock motor, as I would for a ported low mile S5 or S4 motor.

And I dont think the RE UIM will mate up with a 13b LIM, will it? Or are there aftermarket LIM's that can?

There is a big spread between 500HP and 600HP, but I'm sure you know that based on your signature.

The stock S5 (and S4, for that matter) intake will handle 500HP, and probably 600HP as well.

Or you can fab something up. Or go to a set of ITBs and a big plenum.

Knowing something about your goals will help. What turbo?

Oh yes. I know its a huge jump. Going from 500-600 on a 3 rotor took some time even.

I didnt think the factory intake flowed that well. Interesting.
Id love to fab a sheet metal mani. I build a REW with a friend over the winter, and he had some weird JDM sheet metal thing we put on. And it seemed to flow a lot better then the stock one. Made the same power as the stock mani, just with 3-4 psi less. Which might not sound amazing, but we were happy.

I guess the goals can be spilled. lol
Selling my setup, its a REW with a BNR setup. I was looking over the motor a few weeks ago... One of the housings is cracked. I know, WTF? I dont know what happened. I got the motor for cheap. So maybe it was that way before, and I never noticed. Only put about 15 miles on it. It seemed to run fine. But I never really got on it at all. So who knows.

So Im gonna go to a S5 Jspec motor, once I can find a good one.
Im trying to do a poor mans build on the car. 500+hp for under $7500.
Thinking about a 67mm Garrett. With a .95 a/r.
Since my other FC sucks out on the street. Im trying to build something fast. But something that can still run at 10psi and be driven whenever.
Full interior, no cage, a nice stereo, A/C, P/S, a reasonable clutch, all that jazz one might want on a street driven car.

I just don't see the point in a custom manifold unless you are willing and equipped to do it like Aaron. the RE has a much larger plenum and port runners. Swap the exhaust sleeves and it will do what you need it do. Port matching an RE LIM to an s5 doesn't accomplish much IMO. The RE LIM was designed for the much larger RE ports.
