know sideskirts, front lips, rear wings, and spoilers look nice and all, but I am pondering which to get. I am concerned about the spoiler right now. The streets around my city are too fuqqed up to drive with a body kit, so I'm thinking of replacing my stock rubber spoiler = )


Are there any spoilers out there that have proven tests (dynos/windtunnel) to reduce the drag coefficient?

Which spoilers do you have? Any links/pics?

 

If you have the SPORT spoiler sell it to me.

I personally say the stock ones are best but the wings west one don't look too much like RICE.

 

Well, the sport black rubber bumper that is on your car right now acctually does a great job of lowering your drag

I have the turbo/gtu wing from a 1989+, it looks great, and i'm sure does something with drag... right?

I think there was a thread on the GTU wing where ICEMARK said that it makes more down force but creats more drag.

Anyways I am willing to pay a reasonable price if it is the SPORT wing you have right now and don't want.

Best spoiler is really an opinion. You won't notice any performance improvement I'm sure. Best one IMO:

 

Anything that adds downforce is more than likely going to add aero drag. Personally I prefer the S5 GTU spoiler, thats what I have on my car. I also like the Kaminari wing too.

 

Yes at the speeds most people will be travlin drag/downforce is not really a factor. So get which ever one you like the best.

 

I like the factory ones, without it the end of the car seems to abrupt after the hatch window.

about my rubber spoiler... I'm not taking it off just yet! I won't get a new spoiler until probably half a year or a year. Sorry! But as soon as I take it off, I'll sell it to you mad cheap. Thanks again.

Thats actually a copy Corksport made of the RE Amemiya spoiler. The original can be found on rx7.com still I believe.

i got a sport spoiler.. i want someone to take it off my hands PM ME... came off of my sport... i liked it but i found a gtu spoiler instead....makes the car look a hell of a lot nicer... IMO

importboi22 that looks pretty good but kinda ocward. if you molded it to the body it would look a hell of alot nicer.
