Best Spark Plugs
I've finally bought an RX7 for a project car with my friends, and we're happy with our buy. Now we gotta register, insure, and smog it. Right now we're tryin to go thru the recommended route, taking intensive car of the car before we do any performance upgrades. Our plans for the car would be an EXTRA car if anything happens to our daily drivers we'd have an extra car to drive. But for the most part it will be an autox car or just a canyon car. Horse power gains, we don't have plans but we'd beef up the suspension to make up for the non-torquey engine. It's an N/A so what would you guys recommend, personal experience would be nice. What does "Cold Spark Plugs" have to do with anything? Prevent premature ignition??
Oh, I did search already.. couldn't find anything with a related topic, maybe I just suck.

Try do a web search - there are countless pages on the subject of spark plugs and (proper) heat ranges.
Running too hot of a spark plug range will cause...
...possible detonation.
...premature wear of the spark plug electrode.
Running too cold or a spark plug range will cause...
...possible fouling of the spark plug, which will eventually lead to the motor not running at all.
You need to run the proper heat range - you really have no option to change that.
The trend nowadays is to run more exotic metals.
Iridium spark plugs are the rage.
Keep in mind these things are normally priced about $30+ PER spark plug.
The iridium just allows the spark plugs (electrode) to last longer.
SPARK PLUGS DO NO ADD PERFORMANCE.
They just allow more consistent performance by firing a more consistent spark.
So get any notion you are going to miraculously get 5+ hp gain just by changing spark plugs; this will not happen if your old plugs are in perfectly working condition - power gains are usually due to replacing worn spark plugs that are misfiring.
