Oh yeh, I forgot to mention.
I have all 3" RB downpipe, RB pre-silencer, RB connecting pipe and out to a catback.

The presilencer makes it a bit quiet and deep i think..
My buddy has that motroa? straight out no presilencer. I think they're 2.5 inch.
They're a bit more high pitch but not too high . About a tone higher than mine.

I've a clip somwhere....

Excellent video clip!! I have dial-up so it took awhile. Sounds awesome. Guess I'll order the RB.

If you're talking about Hypertek's video, that's RB as mentioned, but if you're talking about mine, the only RB I have is the downpipe, presilencer, connecting pipe. The cat back is not RB

+1

Hands down the best system to buy for the TII. Its nice because its not blaring loud 24/7. Cruising is quite, and when the turbo kicks in the exhaust is just sex, and really is the best exhaust note money can buy.

I have a 3'' hks downpipe to a 3'' fence pipe...it's loud as **** and annoying. The only thing I like about it is that you can hear what the turbo is doing all the time, whether boost, decel, etc. It makes a pretty neat whirrring noise when you let off the gas and you can hear it scream pretty well when you're on the throttle. I'm gonna do something about it soon, I'm thinking an inline muffler so I can still keep my raw straight pipe look.

The best sound eh? 3" dp and 3" straight pipe all the way, no BS muffler. I gurantee you to be able to be heard from miles. Just have a muffler shop flange a straightpipe setup from ur DP. Thats what I have.. Mycar was idling /breakin on my driveway for 30 minutes and cops came saying many neighbors complained.

stock dp, , gutted cat, 3"straight pipe all the way welded on a 8 " long tip sticking out I bought at a trucker stop station, street port

I wish I had a 3"dp....It be maddddddddddd LOUDDD

You dont need to spend $$ to get a exhaust system, just go to a muffler shop and have them do Bends[back pressure] and flange a straight pipe from ur DP. Youll spend roughly around $100, and be LOUDER than all the BS mufflers setups. The budget method !!!

its a racing beat pipe to dual apexi n1s BTW

So this is a racing beat exhaust except it has n1s instead of rb mufflers?

I really like the way it sounds.

Right now I have a Turbo swap 86 with the racing beat exhaust and it sounds great.

My 88 TII has a 3 inch downpipe and 3 inch single exhaust with some pos can on the end. It is loud as hell, sounds raspy and shitty and the cops pull me over about twice a month.

I may go the dual N1 and presilencer route on the TII this spring.

Also glass packs take away a lot of the low end noise and actually sound pretty decent but they only last about a month.

went to the track in amarillo tx. four hr drive, the vibration from the ex i guess knocked out one of the bolts after test pipe. sounded like a lawn mower till 2k at wot amd the ex would seal its self. this track had all(ever seen the hills have eyes) hillbillies, with big knocking v8's. and they were all booing me when i came up to stage. it was me vs a fox body with 5.0, dusted it by 4-5 car links, they shut up lol, but that noise was embarrassing lol
