haha what ever guys. Ya I drift, but I dont drift on the street, I go to the tracks and I have done it mulitple times. I am quite good, but need a few more parts (just like everyone else. haha) I also do auto X and drag racing, you going to make fun of everyone that does that also?
Don't be mad cause you can't drift. You know you want to throw it sideways, you just can't.
Power, reliability, cheap ... you can only choose 2
I choose power and cheap because I dont mind rebuilding. I am smart enough to be able to fix my own parts instead of just paying someone else to, so why not go with the extra power?
Also why would anybody take their um .. $20,000 car to a drift track? that just seems stupid to me. I would much rather wear down my used 3k rx7..
Upatnight PMed me and said that I am burning my bridges... cause he is so hot or something ... hey spend your money I dont care just saying for others in the future I recommend what I did. I know my car, I basically put the whole thing together. I like the fact that I can fix anything on my car. You can call drifters stupid, but we know as much about our cars as any serious racer... (except for the ones that just pay for their upgrades).
I dont know about upatnight making BIG power (almost none of his parts scream aftermarket turbo) so most of his mods must be on cosmetics for 20,000. That is fine, I just prefer go, more than show.
Hate me if you want, but I have never loved my 7 more then when I was in 3rd 6000 rpm WOT, sideways, on a banked corner.
Ohhh and I would most most likely still be on my stock engine and transmission if I was to drive the car as a daily driver... I couldn't stand the NA though... was a good snow driving engine! Just like any motorsport you are going to break something ... if not, you're doing it wrong. :P You have to push it to its limit.

Hmm. That made me look around a little. I don't see any official comments on it, but the overwelming agreement seems to be that there was a turboed SA (which is further divided, some saying it was prototypical and others that it was a limited addition), so these are TIIs. Mixed in there are similar things to what I said, the claim there was a prototypical turbo FC that was redesigned, and of course the reversed UK standpoint of S4/S5=TI/TII.
So it seems sometimes a little research can blur an answer even more. Oi.
