It's all a matter of what your looking for. But do a little search and there is a post with 50+ replies on this same subject .. where everyone gives there input on what & why they think the way they do.

I just finished my car up about 2 weeks ago .. I will post numbers (you can bet ) as soon as I know them.

Question A question, and an observation....

Question:

the 89-91 are the same

Is that true. The '89 Verts didn't have the drivers side airbag, so I thought that the '89 TII's may have avoided the mouse belts.

True or False?

Observation:

the best would be a turbo engine in your vert

I couldn't agree more.

TII Verts are....

The 89-91s are more rare and expensive. But for a price you get:

-better looks - different front bumper, rear taillights and body color moldings (help a lot)

-updated instrument cluster

more weight

mouse belts

the 87-88s are lighter and are slightly different in looks. They are easier to find (especially the Turbos) and generally cheaper.

It all depends what you want, but if you can afford an 89-91 (commonly known as an S5) I would reccomend it as they are "more refined"
