What I did, and it looks great was: take out old **** boot, cut into individual peices along seams, trace copy over new material (leather, vinyl, etc.), the cut it out and re-sew it. Perfecto.

Leather Shifter and E-Brake Boots

http://www.redlinegoods.com/

Here is where I purchased mine. They are totally awesome and quite affordable. I learned about this seller on this site well over a year ago.

Someone might want to archive this information. Quality products like this for the FC can be hard to locate.

I just purchased one off Ebay. It came to $10 after shipping. It is black vinyl and looks great. Just search for "Rx-7 boot", and it should come up.

How did you sew this? I've had all the materials for quite awhile, but I can't seem to get consistent stitching with a regular sewing machine.

I just remembered from home-economics. Keep it straight. A word of advice when doing it is do all the "decorative" stitching first, then reinforde it from the underside, then on the last one, turn it inside out.
