best place to get a line through the firewall

best place to get a line through the firewall

I would like suggestions for where to get my vaccume line from the boost guage through the firewall. Thanks

I drilled a hole for mine by the brake booster. My suggestion is to take the shortest, most unobstructed route.

On my car, the boost line is entering the compartment thru the rubber housing along w/ the many wires (but you have to make a small hole...just use a screw driver and make a hole there). Under the hood, it is located under the brake booster and steering wheel. It enters the compartment just above the fuse box. Hope this helps.

I run all of my lines through a factory hole that is above the gas peddle. There is prob a rubber thing that will pop out, and then you can run the line

Its a far stretch to the passenger side, but the ECU wiring harness is over there and it has a lot of space in the rubber gromet. Otherwise I would say maybe running it through where the harness comes through on the drivers side. Drilling is the best route though.
