Where in Michigan are you located? I'm in the process of doing the same thing. I'd like to keep in touch to check your progress. I'm over by Grand Rapids.

speedmachine.com

also see the single turbo forum. Greddy still makes a kit with a TD06-20G . I pieced mine together. I used the HKS undivided cast manifold (not the fanciest, but reliable, and is proven to dyno at least 490rwhp), a garret T4 turbo, and then custom oil lines, modified corksport 3 inch downpipe, and a modified greddy front mount kit. I also have a custom intake and a standalone which allowed me to remove my airflow meter.

Kits are overrated.
Plus, they are not "complete".
What I mean by "complete" is that you also need:
* upgrade fuel pump
* upgrade fuel injectors
(Basically, you need to upgrade your entire fuel system depending on power levels.)
* upgrade exhaust (but most people already have this)
* upgrade clutch (you might already have this)
* bigger radiator (not absolutely necessary, but highly recommended)
* stand-alone EMS (although not always necessary, it's highly recommended)
* FMIC?

So, a "complete kit" ends up being more like $10,000?

right on Bro

I would say this is pretty much a necessity... I mean, unless you get real creative with flashed ECUs and SAFC units... but fuel and big turbos isnt something you should skimp on.

I don't know about on a 13B-RE, but I was NOT happy with my rx7store extreme fuel system kit. If I could go back and do it again, I would not have bought it. I bought it expecting it to have just about everything so I didn't have to go through the bullshit of hunting down fittings etc. but here were the problems:

1. No instructions. This is my biggest complaint. I emailed them and they told me it was pretty much self-explanatory. Well there were a few little things that were frustrating and not self-explanatory, such as:

2. The KG secondary rail did not fit. It needed spacers, which were not included. I ended up stacking washers. Because there was no instructions I wasn't sure if I was missing some part.

3. It was completely unclear how to run the line from the primary rail to the secondary rail. I thought maybe I was missing a fitting that would replace the barb on the primary rail, but in fact you are supposed to do a ghetto loop-de-loop to make it fit.

I called them up and whoever I talked to seemed irritated that I was even calling asking about these two problems. He told me "uhh this kit is for professionals to install only," like I'm some kind of idiot. And yet I was told it was self-explanatory...

Not the first person I've heard that from. Not to mention the kits I've seen have used right angle elbows for feeding the rails instead of AN hose ends that are a sweeping curved pipe. Talk about the wrong stuff...

It cannot keep up with your 550 / 1600 fuel injectors.
BTW, how is the Microtech handling those fuel injectors?
I've heard a lot of people complain that it can't.

That's everyone's dream...
The reality is that (fast) spool is a compromise with good top end.
Try looking into a GT35R?
It gives good spool due to the BB center, and coupled with a 1.06 A/R turbine, it makes for a solid top end.

At the wheels?
BHP?
If we're talking at the wheels, we run into two problems...
One, you don't have enough fuel injector to support 500.
Two, turbos that do produce an honest 500 at the wheels get really big - i.e. response goes down.

Are we talking pump gas or race gas?
400 at the wheels is doable with pump gas.

Also, your ACT clutch is iffy at 500 at the wheels.
If you haven'tfigured it out yet, going over 400 gets to be very expensive...

Not really going to happen. Each .110" wall 321SS U bend we use costs about $150. Thats just one reason our(Turblown) manifolds are expensive..

Ted what fuel pump would u suggest? As far as h/p i guess the higher the better but in reality i hope to get to 400 comfortably on pump gas. so u guys think that the gt35r is the best way to go? Thanks
